Consider Membership
If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents to helping others ... making an impact at home, across Wisconsin and around the world ... consider the possibility of doing so with the members of the Lake Wisconsin Lions Club. We are by far the largest service organization in the communities we serve.
If you would enjoy finding and enjoying new friends, discovering personal growth or leadership opportunities, or simply helping on projects that interest you ... we invite your membership inquiry.
Among Wisconsin Lions, our Club membership is unique. We have more and varied service and social activities than most Lions Clubs. We have proven to be a model of modernization among Lions Clubs. Our membership mix includes men, women and a number of couples.
We have folks with a variety of life experiences that makes each person interesting. And we enjoy camaraderie in service and socializing beyond our (usually brief) business meetings. You’ll find a year-long calendar of events in News & Views.
If you've been in the Lodi-Dekorra-Poynette community for a while, chances are you already know someone who is a member but you may not realize it. (In respect of member privacy, our directory is not published on this website). If you're new to the area, you may or may not have met Lions. In either case, we'd enjoy meeting you. You'll find we go out of our way to make everybody feel at home.
While membership is by invitation only, we encourage you to attend a Club meeting as a way of finding out more about us.
If you know a Lake Wisconsin Lion, ask about joining him or her at the next meeting. If you don't, go to Contact Us, E-mail us, and our Membership Chair will follow up. Or, please feel free to just come to one of our meetings a few minutes before our 7:00 pm meeting time (on the first and third Thursdays of each month) and introduce yourself.
Annual membership dues are $75 and due October 15 of each year. New members' dues are prorated semi-annually depending on time of joining; a one-time new member application fee of $25 is also required. A discount is available for couples joining together.
